Roger, Diego, Isabel and Rodrigo. Colorado Bound!

Colorado Bound!

After leaving DC to play hockey in Michigan and finish high school, Roger went to Geneseo State in New York, where he excelled academically and played ice hockey, and then went on to get his law degree at Notre Dame. While in law school Roger decided to become a lawyer in the Marines. Between graduation from law school and starting his service with the Marines, Roger went to Spain to learn Spanish. He spent 6 months in Spain where he met and fell for Isabel, La Princessa! It turned out great! Isabel and Roger got married in 2002. Roger was a lawyer in the Marines and a eventually a Judge. He retired in March 2021 after 20 years in the Marines! Time does fly! The entire family has moved to Morrison, Colorado, after about 9 years in DC. They grew to love Colorado after going skiing there for several years. Son Rodrigo is 18 years old and will be starting at Colorado College this fall. Diego is 13, going into 8th grade and a real bundle of energy! Santa Isabel continues to work hard to keep some sanity in the family. It’s a lost cause with 3 Mattioli males to care for!
